In attendance: David Aschenbrenner, Chair, David Hedges, Vice-Chair, Linda Hedges, Sec/Treasurer, Sarah Smith, Park and Garden Director, Gene Zelharie, Captain Robbie Graves, Milwaukie PD, Rob Reynolds, PSAC Rep., Renee King and Walt Zisette from Providence Hospital, Rebecca Stevenjord, Girl Scout Troop 10283 and Emily, Ruby and Harper, Girl Scouts.

Introductions and Welcome: David Aschenbrenner, Chair

Items to add to the agenda:
Girl Scouts Ruby, Harper and Emily gave a presentation on how they are not able right now to have cookie sales in-person but gave information on how to order cookies for home delivery online.

Public Safety: Captain Robbie Graves, Milwaukie PD Milwaukie PD has one police position open and advertised. There has been two recently solved cases – a distraction theft from a downtown shop and a murder, that were great successes for the department.

Providence Milwaukie Hospital presentation on new ElderPlace housing plan Renee King and Walter Lizette showed plans for a new 3 story, 68 unit housing development intended for elders is on a property adjacent to Providence Milwaukie Hospital

Homewood Park Tree Clearing – January 25-27
NCPRD was asked to replace trees removed with larger trees (probably 5 gallon)

Public Safety Advisory Committee:

No meeting was held in December
Rob asked for issues or concerns to take to PSAC

Projects Update:
Monroe Apartments Update – nothing to report
Home Avenue SAFE project – will be discussed at February meeting

Rob Reynolds moved, Linda Hedges seconded motion to use a photo of a trillium for our logo. Passed unanimously.
